The only details we have about the LG G4 come from rumours, but this could change on April 28 when the company is expected to unveil the device to the public at its flagship event.

The event is expected to take place in multiple locations including New York, London, Paris, Seoul, Singapore and Istanbul.

Rumours suggest LG’s next flagship device will ditch the plastic body used on the LG G2 and LG G3, and be housed in metal instead. It may also come with a 15MP rear-facing camera and a Quad-HD screen already used on the LG G3 and LG G Flex 2. As the name suggests, everything displayed on the Quad-HD screen will be incredibly sharp – four times the definition of standard HD.

LG G4 release date

You could be waiting up to a month and a half after the flagship event before being able to get your hands on the LG G4, however. The LG G Flex 2 debuted in South Korea a month before making its way to the UK, whilst the LG G3 didn’t arrive until a month and a half after its unveiling last year.
