The LG G Pad 8.3 is ready for release. Well, it is in Korea at least.
The company’s slatest offering (get it? no?) will come to its home turf next Monday, October 14th. But fret not if you live anywhere else; the new tablet will be hitting another 30 countries this year.
As the name suggests, this latest LG has an 8.3 inch display, running at a resolution of 1920 x 1200. The innards consist of a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor running at 1.6 GHz with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage. Nothing too fancy, then, but there’s also a micro SD slot and both front and rear-facing cameras. The snapper sitting on the back is at 5 MP while its front-facing friend is 1.3 MP. All of this will run a pre-installed Android 4.2.2, and be kept running by a 4600 mAh battery.
In Korea it’s going for 550,000 Won, which equals out to about £320 or $515. We don’t know just where it will launch specifically once it’s out in Korea. Still, expect the LG G Pad 8.3 to hit all of the larger markets just in time for Christmas.
