LG G Flex won’t be releasing outside of Korea for now, new leaked pics

When it was announced the Samsung Galaxy Round wouldn’t be releasing outside of its home turf in Korea, we looked to LG for our curved smartphone offering. Sadly, we’re now hearing that the LG G Flex won’t be releasing anywhere other than Korea, for now.

The Verge has some fresh renders of the new phone (below), which has been confirmed – but not yet revealed – by LG. The outlet obtained the leaks from Argentinian broadcaster Telefe, who also confirmed that LG wasn’t planning to release the handset outside of its home country.

While Samsung’s offering is curved from side to side, the LG variant dips from top to bottom. The renders show the G Flex to include a six inch display and a 13MP camera.

It’s definitely a shame that the LG G Flex won’t be releasing outside of Korea. That said, if the Samsung Galaxy Round experiment pays off, maybe we’ll be seeing that phone over here instead.
