Does the LG Optimus G Pro not do it for you? Is it just too, well, expensive? Well it sounds like the South Korean company might have a solution for you.

Leaks are coming in about a cheaper version of the flagship device named the LG G Pro Lite Dual, which is one buzzword too many for our tastes. A Russian media report leaked the device’s existence, complete with an image (above) and a list of specs. It’s set to arrive armed with a 5.5 inch True HD display similar to that of its bigger brother, while the camera would see a downgrade from 13 MP to 8 MP. There’s also set to be a 3140mAh battery, although that’s where our knowledge of the innards ends.

The original model sported the likes of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, so expect the Lite Dual to achieve something similar, if a little less ambitious. As the for the ‘Dual’ part of that elaborate name? Dual SIM cards, because they’re ‘in’ now. The source suggests that the device is set to launch around mid-October for the price of 12,990 Russian Rubles (around £250), which isn’t too bad a price at all. That said, there’s no details on official worldwide pricing or availability so we’ll have to make do without for the time being.

The Optimus G launched earlier this year, while LG’s G2 was available much more recently.
