iPhone 7 powered on in picture

An iPhone 7 powered on has been spotted in the wild world of tech as another leak of Apple’s expected iPhone 7 presents itself.

It really is starting to feel like Apple are co-ordinating these leaks to to get everyone on the hype train. Since the OnePlus 3’s release, marking the final major Android release, rumours and leaks of the iPhone 7 are flying in left, right and centre.

We’ve seen dummies, cases, close-up shots of dual-cameras, patent leaks, but yet to see an “iPhone 7” device powered on. Until now. We should probably mention that a pinch of salt wouldn’t go amiss, as this is juts a rumour. However the images are quite convincing, showing a device running what looks to be iOS.

Images are courtesy of popular micro-blogging site Weibo again. If the images do prove to be fake, we have to give props to whoever mocked this up, as they went for that signature Apple rose gold for the casing.

Wake me up, when September starts

The iPhone 7 is expected to be released in September with so much to confirm and dismiss before the grand unveiling. Will it not have a 3.5mm headphone jack? Will the camera bump be widened? Will there be an iPhone 7 Pro, continuing the Pro series which Apple introduced with the iPad Pro.

It makes a lot of sense for Apple to introduce an iPhone with the Pro moniker as the Cupertino giants enjoy a bit of continuity. Read about and see the iPhone 7 Pro leak here.

As for these images of an iPhone 7 powered on, again to reiterate, take it with a pinch of salt and preferably with something alcoholic and Mexican. Stay with What Mobile as we’re sure plenty more leaks will be flying out of nowhere again.
