Invites to buy Google Glass being sent out

Want a Google Glass device? Well you might be in luck. That is if you’re planning on making apps for the thing, as Google are sending out invites to developers.

An invitation to buy a device might sound a little weird, but Glass is still very much in beta form and needs testing. Hence the limited availability. According to Engadget invites are being sent out via email for people who previously registered interest. It’s not yet known just how widespread these invites are, but designers should keep an eye on their email inboxes.

Meanwhile, it’s been a few weeks now since we last heard about Google’s impressive barge that it’s building to support the Glass.
