Huawei is debuting its entry level smartphone, the Ascend Y300, in the UK with Carphone Warehouse.
The device would be on offer from tomorrow (June 6) for £59.95 for upgrades on prepay and £69.95 for new prepay customers, or £7.50 per month on contract.
The phone is aimed at the youth market and first time smartphone users, Huawei said, and runs with a 1 GHz dual core processor and Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean), as well as Huawei’s own user interface, Emotion.
The device has a four inch screen and a 1730mAh battery, with a 5MP camera featuring auto focus and flash.
The handset would come in black, Huawei said.
