Hail a black cab with Uber

London’s iconic black cabs can now be hailed with Uber’s app. 

Uber has announced that black cab drivers can utilise the TAXI option within Uber, in an attempt to create harmony and a peaceful co-existence between Uber taxis and black cabs. Uber has seen a lot of vitriol thrown there way from traditional taxi services from London to Toronto. Around the world taxi drivers are concerned about their livelihood being at risk due to the low fares Uber offers.

By including black cabs in Uber’s TAXI option, we can now order a black cab should we desire it, instead of a normal Uber taxi. It’ll be more expensive but black cabs can travel on bus lanes to cut journey time. Black cab drivers can take advantage with no service charge for the first 12 months.

Black cabs can sign up starting today and you can order one today too.
