Google and Samsung agree to 10-year patent licensing

Apple and Samsung may not be able to play nice when it comes to patents but Google and Samsung seem to be getting along just fine.

The two have announced a new deal that should resolve any patent issues for the next decade. Both have agreed to license each other’s patents for the next ten years. This makes sense, seeing as Samsung is behind the most popular Android smartphones.

It also clears the way for Samsung a little bit going forward. At least they won’t have to contend with a mega corporation other than Cook and co.
