Google to include advertising in Gmail for Android

Everyone knows that Google makes its money from advertising, but the Mountain View giant hasn’t yet added them to its Gmail app on Android. That’s all set to change though with files hidden within the app’s APK revealing some new ad positions.

Gmail on the web also recently got an update to allow promotions to show up in your inbox, although it’s not yet known if that will be the case here. Android users will be able to manage their advertising settings though, with a new button routing you to the settings page of your Google account.
