Galaxy Gear now compatible with Galaxy SIII, S4, Note II and more

If you’re getting into the whole smartwatch craze, then you may have had your options very limited — given some smartwatches only work with certain devices. Now if you’re a Samsung customer who owns the Galaxy SIII, S4, Note II, S4 Mini, S4 Active, Mega 5.8, Mega 6.3 or Zoom, you can now go out and purchase a Galaxy Gear. The Galaxy Gear compatibility will be added to all the devices in the Android 4.3 update which is currently rolling out for the Galaxy SIII, S4 and Note II.   The other devices will get a separate update later this month in order to add Galaxy Gear compatibility. Be warned though, just because the update is scheduled for later this month the actual timing will vary country to country, carrier to carrier, so be prepared to wait a little longer before you can talk into your wrist.
