Fresh LG V20 render offers clearest look yet

Leakster Evan Blass is at it again, tweeting a new LG V20 render that is not only high in quality, but also confirms rumoured features.

Assuming that Blass’ render is accurate of course, the render only shows the front of the device. Which is great for this particular device, as rumours about the V20 have been constantly about the secondary screen.

Guess what? There’s a secondary screen in the freshly leaked render. But a surprising omission is a dual-front camera. The dual-front camera made last year’s V10 unique, allowing wider angles for less awkward selfie shots. Instead we see a front-facing flash (decent) where we expected the secondary front camera. So could we look forward to illuminated selfies of a high calibre?

LG V20 render face-off

A previous leak showed the V20 with dual-camera son the front, so it’s all getting a bit confusing. But considering Blass’ reputation, we’re more inclined to trust his render.

Going back to the secondary screen (also known as the always screen), it doesn’t seem to have changed much. Again if this LG V20 render proves to be accurate, you can see info such as: weather, time, notifications. All without having to wake up your phone.

The user interface on Blass’s render show a minimalistic user interface. No bloatware in sight, it all looks quite… stocky. Google stock that is.

LG has confirmed they will be unveiling the V20 on September 6th in San Francisco. Invites for the LG event were accompanied by the tagline “the second story begins, LG V20.” Not really leaving much to the imagination there, but then again it’s just a date. It’s a bit suspicious how the Korean manufacturer is revealing os much about their new device, could we be in for a surprise still come September?
