Free group calling for Skype mobile app

Microsoft will add the feature into Skype on iOS, Android and Windows.

Once available Skype users will be able to host calls to up to 25 users. If you want to do something that extreme, check if you have a fibre optic connection first, or 4G at least, this will minimise disappointment. Previously group video call was only available to those who subscribed to Skype for Business.

At the moment there is no mention of when the feature will be rolled out, but you will definitely get your hand on it first by signing up for it. It has been 10 years since Skype introduced to the world video calling, celebrate it by eventually Skyping 24 of your mates while you’re up on a mountain annoying goats.
