Yesterday it was reported that Apple will be developing a data migration app to Android. Apple denies developing such an app.

In a statement to BuzzFeed News, Apple spokesperson Trudy Muller stated “There is no truth to this rumour” she continued “We are entirely focused on switching users from Android to iPhone, and that is going great.” Apple currently have an app called “Move to iOS” to help Android users swap over to iOS by aiding the painful data transfer process.

The original report came from The Telegraph, which cited a “senior industry source” who claims Apple was facing growing pressure from European mobile operators to develop the migration app. European mobile operators apparently feared having a weak hand in commercial negotiations with Apple, because of the low switch over rate.
