The week’s UK game charts are in, and FIFA 14 has managed to topple Call of Duty: Ghosts in the eleventh hour to become the 2014 Christmas number one.

EA’s sporting giant topped the chart this week, closely followed by Ghosts. Elsewhere is was pretty much business as usual for UK retail this week, with Assassin’s Creed IV, Battlefield 4, Lego Marvel, GTAV, Just Dance 2014 and Need for Speed: Rivals filling up the third to eighth spots respectively.

The PS4’s Killzone: Shadow Fall managed to claw its way in at 9 this week, followed by the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft. No doubt in 2014 things will get up and running quite quickly with the new consoles in play.
