RootMetrics, a United States data analysis company offering crowdsourced mobile network performance information, has today released new figures showing 4G network coverage throughout 14 major UK cities.
The results show that once again, EE is the clear market leader for coverage throughout UK metropolitan areas. The Network, created through a joint venture between Orange and T Mobile, scored top in all cities on test. More impressively, EE has managed to achieve over 90% coverage in 11 of the 14 cities on test. O2 were a distant second on the test, closely followed by Vodafone. Three scored the lowest overall, with Cardiff only having 43.1% 4G coverage from the network.
