The HOMTOM HT5 is boasting a Gorilla Glass Screen that can withstand shattering from darts.
The Chinese company are new to the the smartphone market and with the HT5, an impressive battery capacity is onboard. With the HT5 you can talk to your mates for 72 hours, use it heavily for three days and moderately for seven days. The battery is a massive 4250 mAh, meaning a power bank is probably not needed.
In other specs it becomes apparent the phone is for the lower end of the market with 1GB of ram, Mediatek MT6535P 1 GHz quad-core processor, 16GB of internal storage which can be only expanded up to 32GB.
The snapper is 8 megapixels and front facing is 5 megapixels. The main camera will have auto-focus, HDR and face detection.
But the main appeal will be the dart/shatter proof screen as well as the high capacity battery. So for those who are living in”that” part of London, this could be a consideration. Release date for the UK has not been clarified.
