Curved iPhone could be in development to show up Samsung, LG

Thought that the Samsung Galaxy Round and LG G Flex would be the last we see of curved, flexible smartphones? Think again – a curved iPhone could be incoming.

Bloomberg reports as much, citing sources close to the matter. Apparently Apple has two curved iPhones planned for release in the back half of next year. The glass screen is said to be curved ‘downward at the edges’. Their words not ours – we guess this means it looks similar to the LG G Flex, curving from top to bottom. Either that or it curves inwards which would just be€¦ weird.

The two models would come in two different sizes. One would be at 4.7 inches and the other at 5.5 inches. The latter would be Apple’s largest iPhone yet.

The designs are said to still be in development right now. But if this is true, along with the consistent iWatch rumours, 2014 could be the biggest year that Apple has had in a long while.
