This is a great day for technology! A court has thrown out a ticket issued to a driver wearing the Google Glass wearable. Take that, law!

Cecillia Abadie was initally pulled over for speeding in California. She was then given additional fines for wearing Google’s specs, based on laws that prevent drivers from watching a TV monitor.

Abadie took the issue up in court. The citation issued for Google Glass for dismissed , with Commissioner John Blair ruling that the police couldn’t prove that Glass was in use while driving.

While this is good news for those wanting to develop Glass apps for the road and such, Abadie won the case on the grounds that it couldn’t be proved she was using it. What happens when it can be proved?
