Carphone Warehouse drops Google’s Nexus 4

Carphone Warehouse have dropped the Nexus 4 from their online retailer. Despite being released in November 2012 the phone has failed to maintain a prominent place in the market and the limited edition white model was discontinued yesterday on the Google Play website. Carphone Warehouse were early adopters of the handset and continued to stock the device when Google themselves were struggling to process orders for the phone.

Many other retailers in the UK still offer the Nexus 4 but as one of the largest high-street and online outlets in the UK Carphone Warehouse’s decision to cut the model is a serious blow.

What Mobile has contacted Carphone Warehouse for a comment on their decision to cut the phone from their stock and we are currently awaiting a response.
