BlackBerry continues to go through tough times in this final quarter of the year, but the company has managed to push out a release in the Indian market all the same. The Z30, the BlackBerry phablet, hits the country today for Rs. 39,999.

We already know all about the Z30 – it’s got a 5-inch display and runs the recently-release 10 OS version 10.2. Its resolution is at 1280 x 720 and is powered by a quad-core, 1.7 GHz processor. There’s 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory with microSD card.

The BlackBerry phablet is the largest phone the company’s ever built. Given the competition it currently faces from the likes of Samsung, Sony and LG, each of which has its own phablet offering, will the latest release help them pull ahead?

Oh, and we’re still waiting to hear any more on the company’s sale.
