BBM iPod Touch hitting at some point today

BBM finally made its way to Android and iOS last week, but it looks like it’s got one more stop on its long journey. BlackBerry’s cross-platform app will be hitting the iPod Touch, of all things, within the next 24 hours.

A company spokesperson has confirmed as much to SlashGear. It should also be reaching Wi-Fi only iPads. That means you can have access to it without a 3G or 4G connection, which is a nice little bonus.

BBM has proved popular since launch, installing a waiting list to keep servers happy. BlackBerry itself? Not so good.
