Batman themed Note 7 on its way?

A Batman themed Note 7 will apparently be unveiled by Samsung, it will be the second special edition Samsung device to adorn The Dark Knight’s colour palette.

Recently we saw the Korean manufacturer unveil the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Injustice Edition back in May. The special edition was to commemorate the third anniversary of the Injustice: Gods Among Us smartphone game.

It looks like the first Dark Knight device proved popular enough to spawn a sequel, in the shape of an Injustice edition Galaxy Note 7. The new Batman themed Galaxy Note 7 has the expected jet black body and does away with the Samsung logo on top. To make it clearly Bruce Wayne’s device, the Batman logo is slapped on the back in gold. Gold is also seen on the speaker grill and bordering around the home button.

The leak revealing the new themed device also shows the expected custom interface, that will be pre-loaded in the Note 7. The Injustice S7 Edge saw no hardware improvements and if this custom Note 7 proves to be true, we can expect the same.

Although it would be quite nice touch if Samsung brings the 6GB RAM Note 7, to the west (it would be a slap in the face to Marvel fan though). Currently the beefier Note 7 will only be made available to China.

Batman themed Note 7 light signal needed

You won’t need Bruce Wayne’s trust fund to afford the device, but it’s expected to be quite pricey if you use the S7 Edge for measure. Importers currently have the Injustice S7 Edge up for £775, the standard S7 Edge is currently £630. There’s no way to get the Injustice S7 Edge through official channels in the UK, so whether we will see the Injustice Note 7, is another matter.

We should bear in mind these commemorative editions are for an anniversary. Injustice Gods Among Us was ported over to Android on November 21st, we could possibly see both the Injustice Note 7 and S7 Edge released then.
