Apple will have “an army of new products” later this year according to CEO Tim Cook

This year hasn’t exactly been fruitful for the legions of Apple fans out there, in fact the only new announcements we’ve had in terms of hardware are new Macs.

Don’t worry though, that’s all set to change according to Apple’s CEO Tim Cook, who promises “an army of new products this fall.”

What this could actually mean, is remain to be seen, but with a new iPhone already on the horizon and Cook having recently organised a meeting in an attempt to boost iPhone sales through Apple Stores, then it’s incredibly likely we can expect one of these products to be a new iPhone.

On top of that, we have yet to see a new iPad, so that is likely to be coming later this year too.

We could also see Apple launch an iWatch or the long-rumoured iTV, but whether or not it will, remains to be seen.

Apple is already trying to boost sales in its retail stores through its Back to School promotion, which entices Uni students to buy a Mac or an iOS device to receive a £70 or £35 App Store gift card.

We could talk about new Apple products until we’re blue in the face, but we’ll see more when Autumn arrives.
