Apple watch price cut to $300 with new bands

The Apple Watch just received a big price cut.

The wearable has gone from $350 (£300) to $300 (£259), a massive surprise to many as it has been only a year with no Apple watch 2 to succeed it.

The whole point of the announcement was actually about the new nylon bands for the Apple watch. But of course money is a hell of a lot more interesting. The new nylon band features a “four layer construction” and will come in seven different colours. There will also be a new black version of the milanese loop. Apple is calling this the “Spring line-up,” so you can expect more bands to be announced in a routine like manner. According to Apple a third of Apple watch users regularly change their bands.
