Guess what day it is? No go on, guess. Okay if you need a helping hand then today is the day that the iPad Air goes on sale, the new thinner and lighter full-sized iPad. We’re not quite sure why Apple has to take down its online store to update it with a new product, but it’s become a tradition so it’s nice to see it continuing.

If you’re looking to buy the iPad Air, then the launch will kick off in the morning, with Apple Stores opening around the world at 8am local time, with as many as 500-1000 units of the device available per store.

Stores currently down include Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Netherlands, Thailand and China, with more set to go down later tonight.
