Looking forward to bit of variety when considering your next iPhone purchase?

A top Apple analyst has tipped that the Cupertino giant might be preparing to launch three iPhones this summer in at least three screen sizes.

This hot tip was revealed by businessinsider.com which got hold of a research note written by Brian White of anaylsts Topeka Capital Markets.

White wrote his prophecy after touring tech manufacturing companies in China and Taiwan . In his note White stated: “After our meeting with a tech-supply chain company, we walked away with the view that Apple will release the iPhone 5S in at least two screen sizes this summer and possibly three. Essentially, we believe Apple is coming around to the fact that one size per iPhone release does not work for everyone and offering consumers an option has the potential to expand the Company’s market share”.

While much of this speculation is obvious to any Apple watcher, White’s view carries clout as he was ranked number 4 on the Business Insider list of “The Apple Influencers ‘ 15 Analysts and Writers You Should be Following.”

A three-way split of the iPhone would see Apple move into line with its major Android competitor Samsung who produce more than one iteration of its flagship devices. For example the Samsung Galaxy III was soon followed by the Galaxy III Mini with a condensed form factor.
