All of Apple’s 38 UK stores will close with immediate effect
Apple has announced it will be temporarily closing all of its retail stores in the UK following the announcement of a third UK lockdown.
Apple’s 38 stores in the UK will all close immediately according to a report from 9to5Mac.
The tech firm had initially closed 20 stores on December 22 until the beginning of January but has now added an additional 18 to that list in locations such as Glasgow, Cambridge, Plymouth, and more from January 5.
Apple is now insisting customers shop online for no-contact delivery.
The vendor had previously re-opened all 32 stores in England and one in Northern Ireland but had implemented a two-metre policy throughout.
The company has also shut down one-third of its 271 stores in the United States as a result of the covid-19 pandemic.
