Amazon Kindle Fire HDX launches in Australia, shipping in UK

If you’re in Australia or the UK and really wanting a Kindle Fire HDX, then good news — the 7-inch version is now officially shipping in both territories. In the UK the Kindle Fire HDX will set you back a rather cheap £199 for the 16GB version, whereas in Australia it’ll set you back AU$329.

The Kindle Fire HDX was officially announced earlier this year wieth a whole host of new features, including a 323 ppi screen, with a resolution greater than full HD. It’ll also ship with the latest Fire OS 3.0, codenamed Mojito, as well as three times the processing power, two times the memory and four times the graphics performance of the previous generation Kindle Fire.
