Always-on display confirmed for Galaxy S7

Another new leak suggests that the Samsung Galaxy S7 could have an ‘always-on’ display.

SamMobile received a surprise tip today regarding the possibility of an always-on display for the Samsung Galaxy S7. Samsung’s theme Store has reportedly got a new theme titled “Cuzco”, which appears to have a screenshot that looks suspiciously like an always-on display. The screen shows white text and icons against a black background, a telltale sign of a glance-based system as used in various competitor devices such as the Lumia and Moto X.

With Mobile World Congress literally days away, expect to find out the truth very soon, though as a rumour from yesterday confirmed pretty much the same thing, we reckon this one could turn out to be true.
