Images of the alleged Nokia 625 have surfaced on the Chinese website TENAA revealing a 4.7 inch screen on the as yet unannounced Lumia 625 codenamed ‘Max’.
The 4.7 inch display would be the biggest in the Lumia range but the leak also revealed that the screen would offer just 480×800 resolution. The handset is also reported to have a 1.2gHz Snapdragon dual core processor, 512 MB of ram and a 5 megapixel camera.
The handset is likely to be targeted at the lower end of the market as its specs are nothing too spectacular, suggesting that Nokia are looking to capitalise on the budget smartphone market following the success of the Lumia 520 which currently holds the lions share of all Windows handset purchases.
The Verge reported that the handset is expected to retail at roughly £215 in China with an alleged launch later this month, despite no official confirmation from Nokia.
