Ahead of the Thursday July 11th release date, Russian newspaper Izvestia has printed an image they received, claiming to show a dual purpose case/charger for the ‘Nokia Lumia 1020’. The case includes a built-in 1020 mAh battery charger for charging the device on the go.
So far, Nokia has referred to the anticipated handset as the EOS. The company have publicly announced that it will feature a 41 megapixel camera while previous leaks suggest it will also be equipped with wireless charging capabilities.
The phone is due to be formally launched later this week at a high profile event in New York but the official branding has yet to be confirmed leaving it unclear if “Lumia 1020” will be the official name.
