Accessory store launched for new Google Glass

This week saw the reveal of the next iteration of Google Glass, available to developers and beta testers later this year. That’s not all that’s new in the land of Google, though, as the company has launched an online accessory store to help you kit out the specs.   Only those already using the Glass can access it.

Right now the store has a few items for sale, including an extra earbud, presumably for the other ear that isn’t supported by the Glass’ current setup of a mono earbud. There’s also a clear shield and the chance to pick up extra cables and chargers. The earbud is priced at $50, as is the charger, while the clear shield goes for $75. A little bit hefty for something that’s already bound to cost an arm and a leg (or an eyeball).

Expect the company to cook up more products for the accessory store in the future. Those already using the current Glass will be able to freely swap for the new version before the end of the year.
