400 titles leave Netflix UK at start of new year

Movies and TV shows come and go on Netflix pretty regularly, but over 400 different titles have been purged from the UK’s streaming service since the New Year.

The list of departing shows is filled with odd bits and bobs though there are a few notable titles (fare thee well, X-Men cartoon). However a range of new titles, including The English Patient, have also hit the service. More titles are set to leave before the end of the month.

It’s admittedly worrying to see over 400 titles go, but we haven’t had any comment from the company itself and we personally doubt it’s going anywhere.
