With Beats prepping to launch its music streaming service on US soil ‘within the next few months‘, all eyes have turned to what platforms it could possibly be available on. According to the president and COO of the company, Luke Wood, it’ll be available on the Web, iOS and Android — although thespacelab.tv is now reporting that it could also be coming to Windows Phone 8.

If you haven’t heard of Beats Music before, then its a music streaming serviced based on MOG. Beats bought MOG last year for $14 million and its plans for its own music streaming service have been long-awaited.

A Windows Phone app would surely boost the struggling ecosystem, but I’m not sure whether another music streaming service is what it needs — after all, it already has Xbox Music, Spotify, Rdio and Deezer, just to name a few.
