Friends app review

Remember the days when your contacts were stored in a single (physical) address book? Now, they’re spread across your phone and various social networks.

iPhone app Friends aims to bring them all together again.

It sucks in data from Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and MySpace, merging it with your iPhone Address Book. It thus brings together their status updates, profiles, tweets and contact information, making it a potentially powerful replacement for your default Contacts app. Plus it’s a Twitter and Facebook app in its own right, allowing you to tweet, retweet, comment and like items on the two social services.
