Smart Copy app review

Given the outpour of rage that accompanies any new mobile platform launching without copy and paste facilities, it’s a wonder the likes of Apple and Google haven’t included something like Smart Copy as standard.

Whenever you copy a portion of text, it opens up a clipboard with four options. These allow you to edit the text, share it (via SMS, email or Bluetooth), translate it or run a search for it.

The implementation is unobtrusive and easy to use, to the point where it actually feels like it’s an integral part of the Android OS. Why it isn’t is anyone’s guess.
