Xbox Music, the name given to Microsoft’s own music streaming service, has been updated on iOS. The big new feature? Offline playback.

The version 2.0.31213 (we remember 2.0.31212 like it was yesterday), lets users on Apple devices stack up playlists without an internet connection. No word yet on a similar update for Android users, but hopefully it’s not far behind.

Xbox Music can be used for free in the first six months but is restricted to 10 hours a month afterwards, should you not opt in for a paid subscription. The service of course also available on Xbox One and 360.
