Virgin offers mobile broadband for £5 per month

The deal follows the recent introduction of Virgin’s mobile broadband offering.

For a one off fee of £25 for the USB dongle that operates with any Windows PC or Mac, Virgin Media broadband customers can transfer 1GB of data each month for £10 per month on Virgin Media’s M package, Virgin’s ADSL ‘bundle 2’ package or the basic broadband service.

Users on the XL or L packages pay just £5 per month.

There will be a minimum 12-month contract.

Any data used beyond the allowance is charged at 1.46p per megabyte.
