Vimeo Android app gets Chromecast support

Vimeo has updated its popular Android application with chrome support.

The Android Vimeo app has always lagged behind the iOS version by quite a stretch, with Chromecast being a strange omission that the company were slow to include. Today, users of the app on Android should be seeing an update that rectifies this at last, with full Chromecast support finally reaching Android users. The new version now carries a ‘casting’ button that allows you to stream anything you’re currently watching to another screen.

It’s been a long time coming.
