Twitch updated to version 4.4 on Google Play

The official Twitch application has been updated to version 4.4 on Google Play, bringing one standout feature and several smaller ones.

The big inclusion in this version is a notification system for broadcasters, which gives the ability to push out messages to followers. Those who use the app for viewing video feeds will also be able to block notifications from certain broadcasters, eliminating the potential for spam.

Other lesser tweaks include landscape support on tablets for video chat and making the search bar constantly visible, regardless of device.

Head over to the Google Play Store now to get the app, or hit the update button and grab the new version.
