Truphone comes to Android platform; G1

Truphone Anywhere offers users low international call rates, for the cost of a local call (excluding roaming).

As well as that, you can also use instant messaging with friends across a range of networks that includes MSN, Yahoo!, Google Talk and Twitter. All of this from one application.

The service will also allow local call rate calls to people using Google Talk and this will extend to Skype calling soon (including instant messaging).

The launch of the Android application adds to existing apps for the Apple iPhone, iPod touch, BlackBerry and Nokia devices.
