Microsoft will finally bring their top end Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 line-up, to the UK and nine other markets. Both devices will pack 1TB of storage.
We were baffled at Microsoft’s decision to not make the 1TB version of the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4, available anywhere else in the world except for North America. Now it’s happening, those who don’t want to rely entirely on the cloud for their respective professions, can take advantage of upgraded specs for both the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4.
Both devices will now be available with a 1TB solid-state drive, Intel Core i7 processor, and 16GB of RAM. The following countries will be seeing both top end devices: Australia, Austria, China, France, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Switzerland, and the UK.
Other countries will come soon
Don’t worry that’s not all as there are plans to bring both models to Germany and Japan in July. Microsoft will be selling the new models through the Microsoft online store.
The much coveted top end Surface Book will be £2,649 (US, $3,199) and the 1TB Surface Pro 4 will be £2,199 (US, $2,699).
Microsoft plan to bring the 1TB Surface Pro to Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. With an expected release this summer. No word on the 1TB Surface Book for the aforementioned territories.
