Surface 2 update fixes bugs from previous release

Last month we reported that Microsoft had launched and pulled a Surface 2 update after wide-spread reports of bugs. Unfortunately, those that did download it were stuck with the issues until a fix was released.

Well that fix has finally found its way online. Microsoft launched a new Surface 2 update over the weekend that brought an end to these problems. Users that were having issues with battery life, faulty shut downs and sleep mode not working. If you didn’t experience any of these issues in the first place, then nothing will change for you post-fix.

As for the initial update? It’s still not online as of yet but we’re hoping for word on it soon.
