Sony could be adding yet another new handset to the upcoming Xperia Z6 line-up if fresh rumours are to be believed.
After the relative success of the Xperia Z5 line, Sony will inevitably be looking forward to the future with a new iteration. Rumours of the expected Z6 line have been fairly common in the past few months but a fresh one suggests that the line-up could be getting a new addition in the form of the Xperia Z6 Lite.
The device is expected to slot somewhere in-between the 5.2-inch Xperia Z6 Compact and regular Z6, with a Snapdragon 650 powering the device (basically a re-badge of the Snapdragon 618). This makes it less powerful than the Snapdragon 652 and 820 devices that sit above it in the range, though not by much when compared with the former.
The Xperia Z6 is already expected to include a new device in the form of the Z6 Mini, taking the total number of handsets in the range to four. If this rumour also turns out to be true, we could very well be spoilt for choice in the near future.
