Sony unveils Xperia Z1S at CES

Sony has a few phones up its sleeve this CES, one of them being the Xperia Z1S, announced at its conference today.

Much of the Xperia Z1S ressembles the standard Z1, albiet a bit taller with an improved battery. It’s an Android 4.3 handset that sports a warterproof design. Under the hood is a 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800, clocked at 2GB RAM. The battery is also at 3000 mAh, with 32GB of internal storage.

The phone’s camera also impresses at 20.7-megapixels and somes complete with a range of software to make use of it.

In the US (UK details tbc), the Z1S is available though T-Mobile alone. It goes on sale on January 22nd, where it’s available on a $22, 24-month plan.
