However, there is some good news – as Sony Ericsson today confirmed that they’re working to release a final update that adds multi-touch, although this was only confirmed for the X10.
Meanwhile, Sony Ericsson has confirmed that the latest Xperia arc and the forthcoming Xperia Play are designed to be easily upgraded and keep up with the latest Android OS as future updates arrive, and the phone will also ship with 2.3 from day one.
