Many major operators and retailers have cleared pre-orders of Samsung’s Galaxy S4.

Following the news last week that, despite a huge amount of hype leading up to the launch of Samsung’s new flagship, the Galaxy S4, many customers would see delays in getting their new handsets due to what Samsung said was “overwhelming global demand”.

However many major operators are back in action today, with Phones 4u announcing it now had phones in stock at its stores across the UK and online, having fulfilled all remaining pre-orders

Chief commercial officer Scott Hooton said following unprecedented demand and initial stock shortages at launch, Phones 4u had taken a large delivery of S4 handsets, which had become the most pre-ordered Samsung smartphone ever for the company.

“This has been used to fulfil all remaining pre-orders, as well as to ensure our stores across the UK have the Galaxy S4 available for people to buy from today.”

Three said it too had fulfilled all pre-orders and had stock available through all channels for purchase.

Vodafone confirmed pre-orders would be covered today and the operator would also have stock for stores.

O2 said all customers who pre-ordered the S4 before the launch date of April 25th would have received their device by now, but that Samsung had confirmed stocke remained limited due to the unprecedented demand.

Stock would arrive in some stores today and tomorrow, the operator  said, with all stores receiving stock by Friday.

Everything Everywhere said today all its pre-orders had been fulfilled and there was also stock in stores.
