Galaxy Watch 4 also unveiled at event
Samsung has launched a series of new products at its latest Unpacked event.
The Korean vendor unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Buds 2 at the event on August 11.
While there was no Galaxy Note smartphone at this years launch, Samsung placed a clear priority on its foldable devices with its latest slate of devices.
That news was confirmed at the Unpacked event as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is compatible with Samsung’s S-Pen, which has been a staple of the Galaxy Note Series.
Both premium foldable smartphones are built with Armour Aluminium and feature an IPX8 water resistance rating.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 features a 7.6-inch Flex Display and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. The latest foldable from Samsung will also feature S Pen functionality.
It has a quad-camera set-up comprising of a 12MP wide, 12MP ultra-wide, 12MP tele, and 10MP front camera and a 4,400mAh battery.
The smartphone is built with a new design that is thinner and lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2, clocking in at 271g. It comes with a choice of three colours: Phantom Black, Phantom Green, and Phantom Silver.
Galaxy Z Flip 3
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, also features a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate for its foldable screen and a new Flex mode Panel.
It also offers a redesigned cover screen which is four times larger than its predecessor, making it easier to view notifications and messages without having to open the device.
It has a triple-camera MP comprising of a 12MP wide, 12MP ultra-wide and 10MP front camera.
The smartphone features a 3,300mAh battery and is available in 128GB and 256GB variants.

The smartphones will be available to pre-order from August 11.
Devices will go on sale on August 27 via Samsung.com/uk and select partners.
Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic
The Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic are both powered by the Exynos W920 Dual-Core 1.18GHz processor and contain 1.5GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.
Both products feature an IP68 rating and run on Wear OS.
The Watch 4 has a 44mm Super AMOLED, Full Colour Display while the Watch 4 Classic is slightly larger at 46mm,
The Galaxy Watch 4 comes with an aluminium case while the Classic variant comes with a stainless steel case.

Galaxy Buds 2
Samsung also revealed its latest earbuds with the Galaxy Buds 2. The Buds 2 are officially part of the Galaxy line-up and feature two-way speakers and offer Active Noise Cancellation capabilities.
The Buds 2 will offer up to 20 hours of battery life with the case and 7.5 hours without the case.
The Buds 2 will be available for pre-order beginning 11th August 2021.
