Samsung TouchWiz Marshmallow leaks

Reported leaks of Samsung’s new TouchWiz OS are currently doing the rounds online, depicting a flatter design that similar in theme to Google and Apple’s offerings.

Ever since Apple introduced the update in iOS 7 (first started by Microsoft with the Windows Metro UI), rival companies have been jumping on board with similar designs. Google followed suit with the Material design first featured in their Lollipop update and has further extended the theme in their newest Marshmallow release.

The latest leak from Weibo user @Misaka_9903 suggests that Samsung could be following suit in their next TouchWiz update, with a flat design and more minimal icons. The source has since been deleted, probably due to a claim by Samsung themselves, however images of the OS are now live for people to see. The images were supposedly of the Galaxy S6 version, which is apparently just around the corner.

We checked for updates on our device and there’s currently nothing to speak of, so we’ll keep you posted.
